ExCeL London is situated in the London Docklands area of east London close to the banks of the River Thames. The Docklands are accessible by air from the rest of Europe, by DLR train from Central London and by boat and cable car.
ExCel is one of London’s largest and best-respected conference venues and was one of the London 2012 Olympic venues. We chose it for AngularConnect because it’s got plenty of space, serves great food.

London’s main rail terminals are Charing Cross, Euston, Kings Cross/St Pancras International, Liverpool Street, London Bridge, Marylebone, Moorgate, Paddington, Victoria and Waterloo.
To plan your journey from any of these stations, use the TfL Journey Planner.
We recommend the Jubilee Line as the quickest route to the conference venue. Alight at Canning Town and change onto a Beckton-bound DLR train, for the quick 2-stop journey to Prince Regent for ExCeL.
When you get off the DLR, walk up the stairs, turn right over the bridge and straight through the main doors into ExCel. Walk through the hall to the escalators at the end, which are signposted AngularConnect:

Emirates Air Line (Cable Car) connecting ExCeL London and the O2 opened in summer 2012, making it possible to travel by Thames Clipper between central London and the O2 and then by Cable Car across the Thames to the conference venue.
It’s really fun and you can pay using your Oyster card! Use the TfL Journey Planner to plan your trip.
The conference venue has 60 cycle racks in total. 6 cycle racks are located at the West entrance taxi drop off point just underneath the DLR walkway and 54 cycle racks are located next to the East Entrance underneath the stairway connecting Level 0 to Level 1. There is no charge to use the cycle racks.
ExCeL London is conveniently accessible from each of London’s airports – approximate travel times are as follows:

If you’re driving to the conference venue, follow signs for Royal Docks, City Airport and ExCeL. There is easy access from the M25, M11, A406 and A13.
The venue has onsite pay and display parking, but be warned it can get expensive so you may want to travel in by public transport instead.
Please be advised that due to other large events taking place in London, hotels are extremely busy.
